Catch-Up Programme 2020-2021
Our Catch-Up Programme is funded at £82,000 and includes Year-specific projects, as well as general strategies to close gaps.
The focus of catch-up differs across Key Stages as the parameters and time-scale to recover the catch-up vary – so Year 11 and Year 13 have the highest priority as they have the shortest time-frame before their final exams.
General Strategies

All subject areas have designed and disseminated Curriculum Road Maps to students so that progression and course coverage is mapped out for all students and effectively planned by subject leaders.
Extra Staffing
We have extended the teaching capacity for the Maths Department (+1.0) and the French Department (+0.4) so that we can operate with smaller groups, or dual taught groups, in order to catch-up on knowledge and understanding in the two subject areas we have identified as the most sequential in terms of building up expertise.
